Essential oils Substrates

The type of media will be used under the application of essential oils will depend on the following elements:

- Absorption technique used

- The content of essential oil to use when applying.

- Toxicity of essential oils used

- The sensitivity of the person (depending on age, sensitivity to taste or smell, desires ...)

Here is a list of different types of matrices that I use for my part:

Respiratory, fumigation respiratory Beware of phototoxic oils (coumarins, furocoumarins ...) dermocaustic (phenols ...) to allergy problems, and possible side effects when using other drugs. 100% A few drops in hot water or in a few drops mouchoire. Breathe slowly with increasing depth in the first minutes. Perform fumigation 5-10 minutes, but stop when the feeling of difficulty breathing.
